For some, getting Grand Canyon dirt under their fingernails is the only way to really experience the inspiring Canyon. For others, soaring high over head in a powerful helicopter in style is the only way to go. If you find yourself in between, here is the tour for you. Experience this 277 mile long canyon from the ground and from the air in this helicopter/jeep tour combination.
From the air you'll view the Grand Canyon's most famous sights such as the Dragon Corridor, Kaibab National Forest, the Painted Desert, the Tower of Ra, and the sparkling water of the Colorado River.
From the ground you'll begin in the beautiful Ponderosa forest and have a chance to see a variety of wild animals. As you progress on your journey, you'll join the old stagecoach route from Flagstaff and learn of its rich history.
Be sure to dress for the weather remembering that it might be cooler in canyon than in town. Wear comfortable tennis shoes or hiking boots. Meeting place is at the South Rim at either the Grand Canyon National Airport or the Tusayan headquarters. Grand Canyon Park Pass is not included (usually about $8).
